Towle is a Minneapolis filmmaker. He began editing video 10 years ago and has since expanded into writing and producing. His passion, however, is directing. His projects include short films and music videos, as well as promotional videos for commercial and non-profit clients. In due time, he intends to add feature-length, narrative films to his accomplishments.
Towle also sits on the selection and judging committees for two local film festivals. As a self-taught filmmaker, he immerses himself in filmmaking books, takes classes, works on locally made films, and is always developing relationships in the filmmaking community. He and fellow filmmaker Ryan Strandjord are the producers of the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project.
Tallgrass Films is Towle’s production company and the embodiment of his filmmaking passion: restoring the art of storytelling in motion pictures.
